Tour Description
The Hellshire Beach is the most popular public beach conveniently located for the residents of Portmore and also a very popular weekend destination for the people. There is a section with life guards and a buoyed off swimming area approximately 200m long. It has changing and showering facilities which is often kept clean. There is a proliferation of shops in fact almost 50 that sell fried fish and a whole host of recipes.
There are a number of tables and benches in the shade of grape nut trees and there is a fish restaurant and bar. There is no charge to enter the Hellshire Beach, because it is a public beach.
